Wishing a Happy Mothers Day to all who may be reading this…. We had a pretty nice weekend. The Weather was beautiful most of the weekend (we did get some rain late Sat. afternoon.
The weekend started Saturday with us working at the Savannah Pet Care and Adoption Fair. We were working the table with Georgia Rescue, Rehab and Relocation rescue group. I have signed on as a volunteer to assist with computer work.
When this ended, we drove over to Scott and Morgan’s for a Mother’s Day dinner. That was very nice as Scott prepared Steak & Chicken Kabobs on the grill, served with cole slaw and a potato and macaroni salad. We spent some time with the grand kids and they presented Lyn with a gift card for a pedicure.
I had given Lyn a flameless candle with a water fountain and Friday, she received some flowers from Leesa and Scott. Joe had contacted me Thursday to confirm our address for flowers and I originally thought they were from him (until Lyn got home and opened the card). His arrived Saturday and were waiting for us when we got home from Scott’s house.
On Sunday, we went for breakfast at the newly opened IHOP in town and for dinner, I made a Baked Garlic, Parmesan Chicken.
Lyn enjoyed her Mother’s Day Weekend!
