VE Day!

Nope, sorry….  nothing to do with War and Victory…        A VE Session in the Amateur Radio World is a testing session for new Hams to pass the licensing requirements and existing Hams to upgrade their license to a higher level.

After I achieved my Extra Level last year I also took the exam to be a credentialed VE (Volunteer Examiner) under the authority of the ARRL.

Our local club (Coastal Amateur Radio Society) C.A.R.S. gacve a 4 week General class and at the completion held the VE session for those (and others) who took the class to take the exam.   I served as one of the Official Examiners for this test.   It was a good experience and another way to give back to the Hobby!
