On August 24th, I received my Credentials as a Radio Operator for Savannah Memorial Hospital. I can now access secure areas of the Hospital and operate the Hospital radio equipment in time of Emergency and monthly testing. I will serve as backup for 1st Sunday and Primary for 3rd Thursday.
As part of my training for Georgia ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) I am required to take several courses to meet minimum Certification Requirements. As an active member of ARES in Chatham County, I have decided to pursue the certification and completed my 1st 2 classes this month. More info as I progress!
