What a nice Visit! Stephen and Rob Cook arrived in Savannah on the 6th… they flew back to NY on the 10th.
After their arrival, we visited a bit then went to eat at Fatz in Pooler… On Sunday, Lyn went with them gallivanting around Savannah with them, Boat cruise, tour etc… I met them later down at City Market and then we went over Alure in Savannah for dinner with Scott, Morgan and her parents. Afterwords, we headed home and the young’uns headed out for some night life.
On Monday, they ate at Mrs Wilkes and later at Pink’s. In between they visited some of the parks and museums.
Tuesday was Historical day, they hit the Mighty Eighth, then Fort Pulaski and a visit to Tybee Island. I had fixed dinner (Smoked Cornish Hens and a pork butt for pulled pork) and we had the Cornish Game Hens with Lyn’s tuna/macaroni salad. After dinner, they went over to spend some time with Scott, Morgan and the grandkids.
Wednesday they grabbed their flight to head back. We all went out to breakfast at IHOP in Pooler before they left. Great to see them and also to have them stay here.
