An excellent Christmas at the McGhie Household! I baked cutout sugar cookies on Wednesday and then decorated them on Thursday. Lyn baked a Monkey Bread on Wednesday (for all the employees at Godley Animal Hospital) and then on Thursday did another one for us along with 2 Pumpkin Pies.
Thursday night we a nice dinner, Lyn fixed meat loaf. After, we cleaned up, set the table up for Friday with the kids and then did our gift exchange (with the dogs!) which was very nice.
I got a Quadcopter, 2 TB Hardrive for my photos, new shaver, travel tripod, Matrix Tool attachments amongst others.
I got Lyn a nice Tempations Christmas Platter, several Jewelry items, a new Kindle, slow cooker, griddle, robe, purse & boots.
Friday morning, Scott and Morgan came over with the kids. It was so much fun watching them enjoy Christmas, starting with their stockings and then passing through all their gifts. It was funny, once they each had a gift, they would count down, “3, 2, 1” and then start ripping in together. 🙂 They played with some of their stuff, the girls went across to the playground for a bit and then we had a nice meal. Lyn did a spiral ham, potatoes, veggies and we had pumpkin pie, cookies and monkey bread for dessert.
Here are some photos of the fun!
