As we did last year, we had Scott, Morgan and the kids over to help decorate our Christmas Tree. As the kids are being raised Jewish, they do not traditionally celebrate Christmas. Helping us decorate gives them the experience of Christmas and the traditions of that Christian Holiday. We began by having dinner and I prepared my Chicken Cordon Bleu which was enjoyed by all.
Following dinner, we presented the kids with their 2015 Xmas ornaments to hang. Jack got R2D2, Harper a Ballerina and Ella a character from Paw Patrol. Last year was our 1st Xmas here and we bought their 1st ornaments. We plan to continue this as a family tradition and they will be keepsakes for them when they grow up.
From there, they proceeded to add all of the ornaments. It was work to keep up with getting all the hooks on as fast as the 3 of them were moving! 🙂 They all liked to cluster them in groups so we had to steer them to spread them out. It was FUN!!!
